Information Science and Analytics

This topic encourages us to explore and use online analytical tools and data to understand and evaluate learning in an organisation

To do this, we must first design adequate procedures for learners to access, interpret and use their analytical learning data.  We will examine what learning data is relevant and how it might be employed. We will see how information science is helping take the analogue experience of learning and applying digital analysis to it.

Key questions in this topic are:

What are Learning Analytics and why are they important?

What is information Science and how does it apply to learning?

How are e-learning and performance related?
